Our sessions are learner-led and relaxed, giving young people the freedom to explore their interests and learn at their own pace.
Participants can spend time exploring the woodland, discovering equipment, trails and spaces designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Around the woods you’ll find dens, hammocks, swings, slacklines, woodland creatures, water play and other features to explore and enjoy.
For those who want to develop practical outdoor skills, there are opportunities to learn and build confidence in bushcraft, survival skills, carving, fire lighting and shelter building.
Our experienced Forest School Leaders observe and support each participant, adapting sessions to suit individual interests and needs. Guided activities offer opportunities to develop practical knowledge, independence and skills that last a lifetime.
If you are new to TWiG and would like to try Forest School, you can book an individual session.
Individual Day Session: £35 per child
Forest School is designed as a long-term journey, helping young people build confidence, resilience and direction through a strong connection with nature.
Sessions are booked in half-term blocks. If you are unable to attend, we ask for 7 days’ notice so we can adjust your account accordingly. If a session needs to be cancelled by us, it will not be charged.
We use the Famly platform to manage invoicing, communicate with parents and carers, and share observations from sessions.
These are unaccompanied sessions for children aged 8+.
